We usually start with weekly or fortnightly sessions, then as you feel more independent in implementing strategies we decrease the frequency to monthly check ins – or however often you feel you need.

The NDIS rate is $193.99 per hour – this price is determined by the NDIS and may be subject to change 

The private rate is $180 per hour 

National Disability Insurance Scheme – NDIS may cover all Speech Pathology services if you meet the eligibility requirements.  Visit Applying to access the NDIS | NDIS for further information. We are able to service NDIS participants who are plan managed or self managed. 

Private Health – Check with your private health fund whether you may receive a rebate for Speech Pathology. The following item numbers will help your health fund identify if you are covered 

·       320 is the item number for Speech Pathology Assessment. 

·       340 is the item number for a Speech Pathology therapy 

Sessions must be paid in full, you will receive an invoice that can be used to claim back through your private health fund. 

Medicare: Ask your GP whether you are eligible for a Chronic Disease Management Plan (CDMP). If you have a CDMP you may claim up to 5 rebates of approximately $55 per session per year.  

Note that this is 5 sessions total across all allied health disciplines (e.g. 3 physio sessions, 2 speech pathology sessions).  Once you have a CDMP you will need to send us the referral form. Sessions must be paid in full, you can then claim your rebate through the medicare website.
